Your Hospital Room

This is where you will stay during your time at Avera Children's. In your room, there will be a special bed for you to lie in and some medical equipment, too. Your room also has cable television to watch, along with movies and music. Every room has a bathroom and a place to store your things.

Your parents can stay with you any time while you are in the hospital. They can even stay overnight with you in your room. Sometimes they may need to go home or to work, but you don't have to worry about being alone, because a nurse is always there to take care of you-even when you are sleeping at night, a nurse is always there. Brothers or sisters can visit you in the hospital too.
